Whether there is somewhere at the event venue where we can change into our costumes.

Ideally we need a changing area as close as possible to where we will be performing. If we are performing on stilts at your event, we would prefer to access the changing area via a lift as stairs can be a problem. The exact size of the changing area will depend on the number of performers and types of acts you have chosen to invite to your event. Refreshments are also appreciated.

Where we should park on the day of you event.

Where relevant, that the venue/performance space is high enough to accommodate our stilt walkers.

Our stilts are a maximum of 90cm/3 foot.

Where relevant, and when asked to perform outdoors, we ask clients to consider alternative performance spaces in case the weather is bad.

If we are unlucky with the weather, rest-assured we will be on standby so that we can go outside and perform the minute it clears up. If an indoor performance is not possible, and the weather prevents a scheduled outdoor performance, the client will still be obliged to pay the total fee as outlined in the Booking Form (s)he has signed.

Where relevant, that there is an adequate stage on which to perform our acrobatic Can-can shows.

The minimum size stage on which Oui Can-can can perform is 5m x 5m. In order to perform safely, we require that it is also clean and level. We are happy to do site visits to make sure that the stage is suitable. Alternatively, a detailed drawing of the stage marked with measurements/obstructions will be required.

Where relevant, that there is an adequate stage on which to perform our cabaret act, Cottontail Sauce.

The minimum size stage on which Cottontail Sauce can perform is 4m x 4m. A relatively high ceiling is also needed for the fan dance, as the performer stands on the large top hat prop as part of this act. In order to perform safely, we require that it is also clean and level. We are happy to do site visits to make sure that the stage is suitable. Alternatively, a detailed drawing of the stage marked with measurements/obstructions will be required.

Booking A Cherry on Top to perform at your event is easy, and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have at any point during the process - just get in touch.

You can either contact us to go over the options, or fill in our Quotation Form and we'll soon get in touch. Once we've confirmed our availability, answered any questions and finalised arrangements, we will send you a Booking Form. This needs to be completed and signed by you, then returned to us. That's all.

Yes. All of our company members are covered by Equity to a sum of £10,000,000. We also have insurance to perform fire shows.

We are all professionally trained performers/dancers/acrobats, and treat each job with the upmost concern for health and safety, for both ourselves and the public.

We are linked in to a vast network of freelance performers. If the performer you have booked is ill, or suddenly unavailable to perform, we will employ another performer in their place.

Don't worry, come hell or high water we’ll be there to perform on your special day!

A Cherry on Top accept payments by BACS or by cheque. We kindly request that this is received within 14 days of us having performed at your event.

Once you have completed, signed and returned the Booking Form to us, you are obliged to pay A Cherry on Top the agreed fee, as detailed on the form, within 14 days of us performing at your event.

If your event is subsequently cancelled, or you no longer require our services, you will be liable to pay us 50% of the total fee, within 14 days of the scheduled date of the event.

Aside from the cost of performance itself, we also charge for:

• Travel to the job (petrol costs, train fares, air fares)
• Accommodation, where necessary
• Per diems for the performers (to cover food and drink), if the job lasts longer than one day
• Travel days - if the job is abroad, we need to be present the evening before an event, or if flight timings/a late finish to the event mean that we cannot return home until the following morning
• Excess baggage, where relevant
• Transfers to and from the hotel, where relevant

These costs of course are very job-specific. Please get in touch, and we'll be able to give you a quote for the cost of performing at your specific event.

Our stilts are treated by airlines as 'oversized sports equipment'. Some airlines charge extra for transporting them, most do not. Bulky props such as Cottontail's Top Hat are also considered 'oversized', and delicate costumes sometimes have to be transported in special flight cases.

Don't worry, if we are travelling by aeroplane to perform for you, we will discuss these kinds of logistical details with you prior to sending you the Booking Form to complete. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

We're glad you asked! In short, because we perform.

While it's true that we have many years' experience entertaining different groups of people at all sorts of events, a wealth of positive feedback from clients, numerous repeat bookings and a wide variety of acts, what really sets A Cherry on Top apart is the passion with which we perform.

Our actresses don't simply wear elaborate costumes or stilts, they fully commit to the character they are performing and really put on a show. They also never forget they are there to entertain, and really create a buzz as they interact with and amuse your guests.

We can be quite flexible about this, but have found the following options usually work best. We also charge the same amount for all of them, as long as there is not too large a gap in between each set.

1. One high-impact 1 hour set - for example at the begining of the evening/your event.
2. Two 45 minute sets.
3. Three half-hour sets.
